The Coded by U Web Development Academy is a rigorous 12 week program designed to provide fundamental web development skills to adults with little to no coding experience. The Academy uses a combination of instructor led classes, virtual office hours and real world projects to help students gain these fundamental skills. Students who successfully complete the Academy have the basic skills necessary for entry-level web development positions.
Some of the basic development concepts students will learn during the Academy include requirements gathering, project processes, the Agile methodology and information architecture. Coding and technical concepts covered during the program include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, the command line, Git and Chrome Developer Tools.
